Bullydog gt with EFI live HPP tuning

P2509 intermittent power ECM/PCM code on bully dog gt diagnostics in 2015 fully deleted Cummins with EFI live hpp tune. Any ideas why it would be showing up? Also, there is no cel light on my dash.

Everything I've read points to battery issues. Has anyone had or seen this code?

    Age of batteries?
    Terminals tight? Any corrosion?

Are you having cooler nights/mornings right now

Batteries are 2 yrs old, terminals are tight. I tried to move them and they were tight. No corrosion, and yes having cooler mornings and nights. If it was due to cooler nights and mornings wouldn't it go away during the day when it's hot?

I just had a P2609 on my 09 yesterday. My grid is deleted
When I started it up it showed the truck was trying to engage the heater for some reason. I disconnected the batteries for about 30 minutes to reset the ECM

Then went ahead and reflashed and it cleared the service engine light

    May try that yourself

Unhook batts, unplug your tuner if it's ODB, hook back up after 20-30 minutes
    If needed reflash

Was the cel on your dash? I do not have a cell on my dash, it's on the diagnostics screen on my bullydog

    I had both ya

If you're only getting it on the Bulldog it's possible it may be nothing. Maybe try unhooking just it for about 30 minutes to let it totally power down. Then hook back up. See if it's still showing

Unplugged the bullydog and code went away.

Good deal. Electronics are a pain
After a couple start ups if it's still clear you should be good. If it comes back it may be a fault in the device for some reason
