    Totally agree with this. If your going to use either s&b or afe get the full on intake. Don't use drop in filters with the stock air box. Too many cases of the filter not sealing correctly even with the better filters

    That why I changed on all my trucks the stockers would plug up with snow and break the seals and start to collapse

    All of the above. I suggest an enclosed filter. S & B seems to be the most popular. Don't bother with that bellow bumper scoop. Waste of money.

    Is it a bad idea to do a straight pipe off the turbo? I have to muffler now with 5 inch exhaust.

    5" is another over kill. But no harm done. 5" doesn't become to be remotely useful until you are at the 800 HP range.
