    noob stationed in Oklahoma

    Hey everyone. I’m completely new to owning a truck let alone a diesel. But I bought my dads 2012 ram 3500 dually for cheap LOL. I have a bunch of parts that I bought off a guy who crashed his truck before he could put any of it on 5” flo pro (just installed), s&b intake, egr delete, throttle valve delete, and mm3 tuner. He never installed any of it on his truck they were all brand new in the box when I picked up. I’m confused on how to tuning works. Do I need to purchase a whole new tune for $775? I talked with the guys at mm3 and they said I didn’t have to get a vin reset from them since it was never installed. So I guess my question is can I get a retune for $250-300 or do I need to buy a whole new tune for $775.

    @Sam Jacob

    Best guy to ask for the tuner question would be @DRD. He's the guru of the MM3

    Tunes on a MM3 are VIN specific, so it would require all new tunes purchased for your truck.
