Could I get some feed back on the erg less tunes? Specifically looking for how many miles per DEF tank refills, and how many miles since tuned?

On the transmission side, what is different with the transmission tunes? Shift points, torque converter lock up speed and gears? Most descriptions state it is better but, I would like to a little more details. Is there a a sticky or other posting that I should read.

When I had EGRless I was refilling the def tank about every 2,500 miles. More if I was towing. Had the system for about 20,000 miles before I had the “spark plugs” gapped!
Now for trans I couldn’t tell ya. I have the G56.

Just want to stress DEF usage is very dependent on engine load. When I was stock towing my fifth wheel loaded up (1650Lbs) l would go through 2 1/2 gallons of DEF every 500 miles.

Do you have the 68RFE or Aisen? Aisen doesn't have trans tuning that I am aware of. If you have the 68RFE the line pressure is increased, the shifts are firmer and the shift points are changed to stop the transmission from "searching" for gears all the time.

I had EGR less tuning for almost 15k before doing the full delete. I used about 2 times as much DEF with the truck empty.

    Truck has the 68RFE.

Thanks for the feedback on empty and towing usage.

Does the exhaust brake work during cruise control after tuning? I saw it is a parameter that can be set with Warp.

Does any one have have smarty UDC pro software?

The free version of UDC was pretty weak with regards to user defined tables compared to warp.

Is stability control is it active on your tunes?

DEF. I put in 2.5 gallons every 1500 to 2000 miles, I don't often tow long trips but when I do I do tend to use more.

    Tuned at 7miles, currently 92K miles 2016 ram 2500 with 68RFE
as for what changes in the trans, I cant be sure as its been so long since I drove with factory trans tuning.

F350, thanks for the reply. Still researching and about half way through a mammoth raceme tread.

Is there any difference between tow-haul and normal?

I notice a difference pulling but only if I actually pay attention to it it seems like it just changes shift points. the biggest difference i note is the performance of the EB when in tow/haul.
