Hey guys I'll post a link below to my video, but I am having some significant temperature fluctuations after installing the MM3 tuner with Anarchy diesel tunes. I just noticed this after I went to take a test drive post-throttle body delete, DPF deleted last week. I don't think it would be a big deal except when towing...and I tow a bass boat with this truck several times a week. Is this normal? If not, any idea what to check.

That looks normal. I would use the MM3 or truck display to monitor actual coolant temp. Most likely the truck has a 190* thermostat. Fluctuations as much as +/- 10 degrees are common depending on load and environmental conditions.Originally Posted by IGOTACUMMINS

Thanks for the quick reply. I was just thinking about something else...I just changed my MAP sensor and this is the first time I've ran the truck since the change. Maybe it needs to run a few miles before it "re-learns". I thought this may be a possibility, but I am no mechanical wizard??
Just wanted to throw this in also - I thought the fluctuations were a bit exaggerated. I assumed with the deletes that the engine temp would stay even more steady than stock. I've put almost 30k miles on this truck from brand new and never saw that gauge budge.

I have anarchy tunes and pulled my 27' travel trailer 1300 miles over the weekend through the Colorado mountains and desert without any temp issues. I don't have my temp gauge move like that.

I towed with the tow tune but normally drive around in hot street. I keep my foot out of it mostly
