Hi I have been shopping around for A new trans. I have a 1998.5 2500 24 valve. Looking to not completely break my bank. It's daily driven and I'm hoping to drag it next year at some events just for fun. I'm going to be running 150 hp injectors and a borg warner 63mm with supporting mods and an edge comp that's hot unlocked. Wondering if anybody knew some good company's. or any shops in New Jersey/ Pennsylvania area that'll do it.

If you're looking to stay local (nj/pa) I've used "level ten transmission " in Hardyston nj

Hey ,

not sure how built you want it , but we built one as a special project for a friend and before complete the truck was totalled.
it's stacked with billet servo's and all new electrical , 48RE Sunshell , transgo shift kit , HD planets , 48RE Overdrive Direct Stack Up and time taken
I would not call this a high performance build , but it's ideal for towing / hauling , and will handle more than daily driving.
It will still need a converter , but we can offer for $2500 shipped - it's not for profit simply to move it out as we don't see transmissions
this was built for a 98/99 47RE / A618 - if you need more info let me know
