Cummins Bad Girl,Thanks for your reply. How do you like the Aisin? At the time I got my truck they didn't have any Aisin's on the lot. So I opted for the a68RFE. But I have 3 friends who all have 2016 Laramie 3500's with Aisin and of course they love them. What's your experiance I am assuming you've had pretty good luck with yours. All the research Ive done if you maintain a 68 and don't beat on it. It should be good to you. What do you do with your truck? I will main'y use mine to tow an 11000 lb. rv and a 10000lb boat of my friends on occasion. But really love the truck.

I love love love my truck!!
NO issues at all, out of all my previous Cummins she is my favorite LOL. She is mainly my DD but if needed she can pull the 38’ 5th wheel. I’ve been window shopping (mainly drive-by) at the dealerships and looking at the 18’s and nah, I’m keeping her, she’s been good to me and to start all over again, nope not going there LOL. Too much $$ already invested in her. She’s a keeper haha

I just learned about a “Sonnax” (part # RFE-LB1) line pressure booster kit from a Chrysler master tech friend of mine. It’s a wiring harness with connectors along with a pressure regulator spring. It claims to achieve a progressive pressure boost in RFEs: 45 RFE, 545RFE, 65RFE, 66RFE, and 68RFE. Without removal of the trans the wiring harness alone is recommended to increase line pressure progressively from 10 psi to 25 psi increases at higher pressure ranges. If the trans is removed the spring can be installed also.
