2006 Front End Level and Aftermarket Over OEM Shocks?

About to level the front end. Seen the normal 2 1/2" "pucks" but also seen an option to change just the spring. This spring is of course longer than stock. Any knowledge of which is better? Or pros and cons? I do realize the stroke will be limited with stock shocks and that aftermarket will accommodate the extra height. Also changing shocks and new OEM are $800 from dealer....BS! Seen popular aftermarket for $500ish. Is this just dealer prices or are the OEM better? Thanks for the responses!

    Or what does everyone recommend??

I personally would change out the springs, much better ride quality with new springs. No the OEM shocks are minimal quality, depending what you're getting.

Anyone use the Thuren 2" springs and Thuren Overland shocks? If so how do you like?

Always go with a quality coil and matching shock, you'll be much happier with your investment. Thuren and Carli make the best stuff out there.

Actually spoke with a guy at Thuren and he gave some great info. Will be ordering this combo at the beginning of the month.
Are there any vendors here that deal with Thuren? Would love to support the Forum Vendors!
