Shoot, who you calling young, I get my AARP card next summer. That could be construed as young here compared to some of the really old guys.

Old age has nothing to do with it. I'm 24 . But there is a difference between good loud and obnoxious loud. Being obnoxiously loud just because you can without a good tone gets old eventually. I went through that phase, I thought it was cool at first, I got in arguments with neighbors over it, the whole deal. I then made the decision to switch because I wanted a better sound and a little less volume.

Like I said, with the Flo Pro muffler the truck is still pretty loud. If you look at the muffler design there's no much to it; it's a straight through design. No baffles or chambers. It's more to get rid of the resonating and give you a better tone.

I'm with you, @brandonjansen . Lot's of us went through that phase. It also depends on the engine or tune... mainly pre 6.7 with pilot injection. I parked at NAPA today beside a '06 5.9 with a 5" straight pipe... OBNOXIOUS!

The old thing was a joke LOL. But I got the delete pipe and muffler he is straight piping first then Ima drive it when I pick it up and if I don't like it he's gunna throw the muffler on real quick.

No offense taken, I am getting old, I became a grandpa today!!

I just think a big @$$ truck like this needs to sound as aggressive as it looks.

No one complaining here in my neighborhood, it's definitely quieter than my son's 01 5.9, not to mention all the thumpers that blast their music as they drive by at all hours of the day & night.

To each his own. I dont think you'll be disappointed either way.
