Can you explain what the problem you were experiencing was or how it was fixed for future reference?
Thanks bud!
Sure sure can @DodgeDiesel
I programmed the ECM which went well with no hiccups. But when I went to choose OTF I got a error message that said "VER Mismatch". It also displayed that same message if I went to the ECM programming in the main menu so I could not reprogram the truck at all. It did program the truck the first time ran good no DTC'S. After contavted Franz with pictures of requested screens he sent me a new firmware file which resolved the issue. I did update before installing the unit which I had the firmware 26 and he sent me 27. Copied to sd card overwrite existing, updated firmware after installing SD card and all is well works like it should.

Has anyone monitored their transmission pressure while towing? I was pulling around 8k with a good headwind the other day going around 65mph and the pressure was jumping from around 145psi to 175psi and then back down. I don't exactly remember but I think the trans was in 6th gear.
Never paid attention before, and it doesn't do it at slower speeds. I'm also running a past update, not the newest version.
The higher the perceived load by the PCM, the higher the line pressure will go. Higher speeds, grades, head winds, towing, etc...will all add load to the drive train and will cause the line pressure to shoot up as you add throttle input to maintain or increase speed. Its a good thing to have line pressure to rise quickly with load as you are subjecting trans clutches to more potential for slipping. More line pressure is more clutch holding power.
