According to my MM3 it typically is in it's "home" position at about 25%.

I don't know if when the key is turned off if this goes to 0% or would I be better off disconnecting it while the key is on?

At this point I am wishing I would have just got rid of the truck back about 6-8 months ago.
I would try with key off first. Once you get the actuator issue resolved I think you will be glad you decided to keep it.

I’m in the same boat. I think once it stops raining I will unplug it to see what happens. I don’t have 800 to throw at it right now. My truck is stock no tunes, does that help or make it worse?

Is that closed or open? If that is closed, you will be okay.

If open, you can still use it but you will have really bad top end.

Just watch the boost and keep it under 20.

Just to clarify when the MM3 displays actuator 0% the turbo vanes are open.

Dang trying to unplug this actuator is a pain in ***. Mainly Bc I don’t want to break this plug. I lifted the tab but the plug won’t budge. Should I just yank in this thing?

Try gently pulling while rocking side to side. A light application of silicon spray lube may help also.

I can’t get it to rock back and forth. Damn don’t have any silicone spray. Only penetration oil. It’s kicking my *** LOL I’ll keep trying to wiggle it

Spray a little penetrating oil on the tab area then see if the tab will come out a little more. Whatever you do don’t pull on the wires.
