    -12 or plus 18 offset

In the market for new tires/wheels. I know there is the website on here called Custom Offsets. It seemed split on what i was looking for. I'm sold on the method nv's in an 18x9in and going to wrap them with 35in ridge grapplers. I'm running a 2013 2500 with the 4 link suspension. 2.5 in leveling spacers and adjustable track bar.

The mainin question is, am I better off with -12 offset or plus 18 for the best clearance and minimal rubbing??

For all around generic best clearance/least rub the positive 18 will be the go to! the -12 will stick out a smidge more but give it an aggressive look!

So someone correct me if I'm wrong.I would think the plus 18 would make the tires rub the control arms with 35s yeah? Not sure how the plus 18 compares to factory wheels. But I put a Mopar 3 or 4 inch lift on a 13 3500 and 35s on the factory wheels. And it would rub for days on the lower control arms.

    2016 2500 slt. 4x4. 20x10 moto metal 970s on 305-55-20. Fully deleted with mm3. 5 inch tbe.

+18 or +20 can fit 35s on a 9 wide wheel. The only real rub spot is the inner fender liner.

This is my '12 with 20x9 +20 and 35s. I used zipties to pull the lower part of the fender liner back. No rubbing on the control arms at all. The '13+s have even more clearance on the control arms than my '12.

That looks really good man. Thankyou fir correcting me LOL. Theres a whole lot of math that goes into that. I'm not good with offset i just know negative pushes it out haha. And that that truck rubbed with the stocks on it. Was actually one of the guilford county police trucks LOL. Your in guilford county aren't you?

Thanks! I agonizing over fitment before making a decision on this combo. I actually planned on doing 18s but got a great deal from Ray @DRD on these when he changed the setup on his white truck. Yes, I'm in western Guilford county,

Cant beat that at all man. I traded 2 1911s for mine so I've basically got 800 bucks in em. 20x10 -24 offset on a 305-55r20 fits factory height with minimal rubbing at full lock.

Well got my new wheels and tires. Went with positive 18 offset on 35's. No rub on control arms. Just needed to tuck the back fenders. I think new control arms down the road will get the axle back center. Absolutley love the new look. Method wheels rock. Suprise to see it seems im the only one in my small town rockin the method NV's.
