    Power, what was your glossing process did you cut strips and paint the resin on or did you do a paper machete type deal?

    @Thake618.

    Before starting I cut all my mat into 3x6 strips and 6x6 squares. I bought the cheapest scissors I could find and bout several pairs. The edge will dull quickly from cutting the mat.

    To start I stapled pieces of mat, overlapping each strip an inch or so, to the inside of the MDF frame to help hold them in place.

    Then laid down pieces of mat to cover the bottom and up the sides to meet the strips I stapled on.

    Next poured resin on the mat in the bottom and began working it up the sides. Once completely saturated I added another dry layer of mat, more resin for 4 layers.

    You want to have everything prepared before you start. It will go much smoother than you think once you get going.

    Awesome job and write up @Power247! For those looking for a head unit, I am looking into this. http://alpine-usa.com/product/view/r...RestyleMyTruck. It's a little pricey. Any input?

    I got 18 Sq ft, might go grab another. Probably going to build the passenger side box tommorow. I got the bond of brand fiberglass stranded mat. That should do right? Then I got a quart of resin as well. Thoughts?
