I dont know how to really explain this but I am looking for a wiring diagram of the "commands" from the key fob. like wheres the (+) unlock wire if there even is such a thing. Even if its possible to buy a key fob with the air suspension button, and using that function on the key fob to trigger and actuator, pretty much just trying to find a hot wire when a button is pushed on the key fob if that makes sense.

I am trying to add an actuator to my tool box so that it locks when I push the lock button on the key fob

Try looking up the instructions for adding the remote tailgate lock. It should have the connector location and wiring diagram needed to do what you are wanting to do for your tool box.
