I think I know the answer

After installing my “off road” tunes from DRD I will be able to drive it before the off road exhaust is installed, right?

Maybe for a very short distance like through the field to go fishing, ONCE. You really shouldn't drive long distance or you will clog things up.

Definitely don't drive on any public road, as soon as the truck touches the pavement it will completely self destruct.

All in good fun my friend.

I wonder what the max time the truck can be ran before changing the exhaust. Understanding that any is too much but if I absolutely had too. Sure, there are may variables that play into this question.

    You mean idling?

I believe Ray recommends leaving the stock system intact in the rare case there is a tuning/file issue. You'll still be able to can drive the truck since it will be stock. If removed prior and the files don't load correct your truck will not be happy with the emissions junk pulled when its looking for it.

Once the tuning is installed the intention should be to remove/replace exhaust pieces once verified tuning has loaded without issue.

You can install tuning to make sure the truck accepts it then retune it back to stock until you get your exhaust on, that way all you’ll have to do is program it.

Keep It simple and don't install without all the parts and time to do install. Think of it as the truck is in-op until its done right.
