    Discreet MM3 mount

    I just wanted to share.

I was needing a discreet accessible way to mount my MM3.

I Velcro’d a small metal disc to the inside of my center console to attach my suction cup mount to.

I drilled a small hole behind it to run the wire for my radar detector and tuner.

Doesn't your radar detector need to have a clear sightline out the windshield and rear window to work correctly

It would have better range if it did, but it still picks up right there.

Why does the MM3 and detector need to be so hidden?

Different reasons, mostly people steal what they see.

That's why I have 2.5% window tint and 40% windshield

That definitely helps too. I’ve had my windows bust out for a $80 GPS sitting on my dash.... SMH .... I tend to be a bit more cautious now days.

Great idea, I’ve been trying to decide where to keep mine. I’m paranoid about people seeing it and don’t want to advertise that I have a tuned truck when going down the highway with it on the windshield. Mine doesn’t have a center console though so idk

I couldn't sacrifice my trash bin for that, but I have seen some good ones installed in the headliner above the review mirror.

I figure 99% of people think it's a GPS anyways on the pillar.
