I recently installed Mopar Tow mirrors on my truck that did not come on it originally. I am at the dealer as I type this to have them program the turn signal and puddle lamps for operation.
They mentioned that they may not be able to program because I did not by direct from Mopar? Is that not the same as me purchasing from the dealer ship? They buy from Mopart then sell to the public?
Thanks for any story on this and sorry if this is not the right area for this thread. Just frustrated
Sounds like hogwash to me. If they won't do it, ask a dealer that is customer friendly.

Yep! BS meter is through the roof. As long as it is the right mirrors for your year/model all they need to do is activate the sales code.

I agree... Although i have never had this question or issue... Most of the time it's as simple as activating the module for it. Kind of like how they used to activate the high idle on the older trucks. Yet still want to charge 150.00 bucks to hook up to the scanner..... Might go talk with the service advisors or one of the mechanics in the back as they are usually helpful.
If still no luck, definitely call around and keep asking. One will for sure be able to give you a better answer.
