Common Problems that trigger the P0933 code are:

    • Hydraulic power unit assembly failure
    • Transmission Control Module (TCM) failure
    • Wiring issue

    Hope that helps friend.

    Re: Code P0933

With this code a person may be having intermittent slipevents while in gear.

The usually culprit is the connection with the line pressuresensor.
This sensor is on passenger side of trans, back of main casejust above the oil pan edge.

First you can check the connection of this sensor/Harness. It clip/locks , so unclip it , then unplug it. Clean and check and make sure its connected correctly.

BTW, in the future itwould help if you put on your thread, theyear/model/ and what transmission you have. There are 2 diff automatics and I’m writing this assuming what trannyyou have
Also include things like recent work that you had done. How recent.

Do depending on what was done on the trans. That sensor , harness could have been damagedor just not seated correctly when they did the work.

Is the work you had done have a warranty?

Yes sorry this is a 2016 ram 2500 with the crappy transmission so you guessed it right. (68RFE). The work i had done was a week and a half ago and has been doing it every sense. On my mm3 the transmission pressure desired at rest is 100. The transmission actual is 150.
