    First time Cummins owner

Howdy folks. I'm a first time Cummins owner and have wanted one for a long time. Been in Afghanistan as a contractor firefighter going on 5 years and haven't even been able to drive my new toy yet. Its a 2014 2500 Mega Cab and only thing on it right now is a 2" leveling kit and some wheels and tires because they were on it when I bought it. Will be hitting up Double R and a few other stores soon for some go faster toys and hoping when Im done to have a 6-700hp daily driver/towing rig. I have been doing a lot of reading/research on upgrades but any suggestions are welcome!

@bamafire Welcome! Have you thought of putting in head studs? I don't know what tranny you have, but what about a valve body and/or a torque converter. With your target HP these would be a good foundation to build on.

2014 Ram Laramie 3500 CCSB 6.7 Cummins. 3.42 gears. EGR Delete. Flo~Pro 5 inch TBE. ARP 625's. GDP grid delete and S2. 464 BMP Turbo on 2nd Gen Manifold. BD Exhaust Brake. Fass 150G Fuel System. BBI 1.5's. Exergy 10mm Stroker Pump. RevMax 68RFE 700 Series. Dual remote oil filters. Thuren coils. Carli progressive leafs with Thuren Kings 2.5. AMP Steps. Snow Performance Water/Meth Stage 2. BDS Recoil Traction Bars.

I have just don't know when I'll do it. I have the 68RFE and deff looking to do that plus a tune with Race ME. I'm doing full delete, tune, exhaust and intake and see where I want to go from there. What brand tranny part do you recommend? Haven't looked into that aspect too much.

I ordered and received my valve body, ordered and am waiting on the torque converter ( hopefully this week ) from RevMax. They are a sponsor of this forum.
