Maybe they made some changes on the 2019’s? I went out today and took mine off , came apart totally different then all the YouTube videos I had watched ? Doesn’t look like the 19’s have the foam in them? Anyone else with a 19 try this??

I tried to take mine out the other day but there is no longer a easily removable clamp that would be eight above it. I think they did that to discourage people from easily removing it.

Pretty much everything on the CJC Offroad Instagram, Facebook, and Website won’t void your warranty. I will also agree with the anti cold air intake posts. Leave your stock intake alone.

Can be done without too much trouble if you want to take off the clamp and replace with a adjustable one.

Keep me posted if ya take yours out. I know it only gives some noise and no extra power at all.

Amen. This is my biggest pet-peave in the automotive world. I have talked to people until I'm blue in the face on the topic but the large companies have spent so much money on marketing they have people convinced it's a great upgrade. Have seen many trucks with dusted engines clear back from 90's Powerstrokes to newer Cummins.

I pulled that foam nonsense out of my 4th gen solely on principle....anything that can disintegrate should not exist in the intake tract.
I moved this past weekend, but might toy around with this this upcoming weekend since I have a garage again.
