    Ram active air

What are you guys doing to the active air if anything. I would prefer mine get fresh air from the grill at all times. Cars did it for decades with zero issues. Can we remove the flapper without a cel?

I used to do it here in Jersey. I never had a snow problem. I did make a shield for the inside of the air box, so rain didn't blow right onto the filter

I removed both air dams inside, no issues. Make sure you have some tork bits and a good flathead . The front dam is a little tough to come off. If you don’t want to put it back on at anytime I would get a small dremel and cut it off. I have mine to where I can put it back on during the rainy season. As for code, it will just say service ram air system. After a couple of key cycles it’ll go away.
