    That's why I suggested year, model and mods.

    It doesn't take much to effect sensors.
    And it's easy to over oil the filters without knowing or seeing it. (not saying this was it)

    Thanks guys, I hope it works. I know if I take it to the dealer they will screw something up and will want to do all the steering recalls and I prefer my steering stuff not welded

    Is that what they do to “fix” the steering recall they just sent out like a month or 2 ago

    Well that just told me what I needed to hear, I feel like you would notice play in the steering before it completely fails, but I guess they have these for the idiot drivers that don’t check things out when drivability changes.

    After a very short drive, there it is . Cel is back and it's the po111 code

    I'd just replace the sensor at this point. They're about $60-$70.
