My rears are at 5/32s and my steers are 7/32s. So hopefully can get another 2-5k out of them. So next round I’ll look into running 19.5s then I could get a 12 or 14 ply tire

I just found a pair of almost new takeoff Nexens so I went that route also.

I have ran two sets of 255x80x17 Cooper ST Maxx on a 2012 dually with no spacers. Had about 1/2" between tires. I'm getting a 2019 dually in a week or two and I'm having the dealer pull the stock tires and put 255x80x17 Ridge Grapplers on it.

I’ve been running toyo 255/80r17 for last 30k miles and no rub. Still adequate space between rears.

What air pressure are you running in your 255's?

I have 80 in right now. Will probably reduce to 70 or maybe 60 to take some harshness out of the ride. I originally upsized the tires to give a little ground clearance while I have the plow on. It’s a fisher 9.6’ stainless XV2. It weights 1000lbs.

I got ST MAXX'S currently running 75 up front and 65 in the rear. Thinking about taking the rear to 60 but they are rather close together at 65. Thinking about getting 2" spacers. Mainly going for ride and nice tread wear.

I'd check that. Maybe 1" would be better? Spacers are bad in many cases.

I agree. I will leave my pressure at 70 before I’d use spacers.
