    Looking for new built trans.

Hi I have been shopping around for A new trans. I have a 1998.5 2500 24 valve. Looking to not completely break my bank. It's daily driven and I'm hoping to drag it next year at some events just for fun. I'm going to be running 150 hp injectors and a borg warner 63mm with supporting mods and an edge comp that's hot unlocked. Wondering if anybody knew some good company's. or any shops in New Jersey/ Pennsylvania area that'll do it.

47re signature series transmission from revmax is a great transmission for the money and warranty! Go check them out!

Alright sounds good thank you! I've been looking at power driven diesel and sun coast transmissions. Anybody know the reliability on them.

Suncoast is a very reputable company, except with the 68RFE like my truck has apparently LOL But I have never personally owned a 47re, but I've road in a lot of built ones and Suncoast seemed to do pretty well with that tranny. Now customer service with them is a different story, in my case anyway, that's why I would choose Revmaxx. Their customer service is great, and they can really take a beating.

@Steven Haney with the right built 47re I think you'd be impressed, whether it's a daily, tow pig, race, or all of the above. The manual swap can go really right, or really wrong and have a lot of bugs to fix. Not trying to say you have a bad idea or anything like that bud, just IMO.

    I'm happy with my Revmax. It's a 68, but if they can build a 68, a 47 is child's play.
