Do you like the GDP on drd or the Banks? I saw a youtube video called intake shootout 2017 and banks outperformed all of them, of course it was made by banks. LOL

Take a look at Shibby before you decide, Clayton @Dude's Diesel Performance is a vendor for Shibby. Lots of talk about them here on the forum.
Knowing what I know now, I would have gone the air horn direction first and also did a grid heater delete before I did the CAI.
Hindsight is always 20/20, but it also costs more in the long run.
    Good luck!!

I did my truck after its first oil change. Nearly 70k miles later and so far so good. If I were to get a new truck I'd at least go for DRD's EGRless tuning. You still have to use DEF but it will stop sending exhaust back into the engine.

The stock airbox with a decent paper filter is good for up to around 500hp, plenty for a stock or delete tuned truck. A CAI will give more turbo sound and open up the engine bay a bit but not much else.

Doing an air horn upgrade and grid heater delete/relocate will increase airflow into the engine, especially if as a stock truck has seen a lot of time idling which allows soot to build up on the grid heater and intake.

You mentioned decent paper filter. I have the stock airbox but I have a K&N drop in filter. Is that an issue?
