    Settings

So I have been trying to set my mm3 to the send only once setting like ray suggests and every time I try to change it I get this message.
Any ideas on my other truck I have never gotten this message. Thanks

    You too ?!?
Mine was originally set to “send only once”
I took my truck to the shop today to have the EGR delete done and they had it on the 12V tune when I showed up to pick it up, didn’t think nothing of it, till I started driving around and noticed my truck was starting on the 12V tune every time, it suppose to be 60HP tune as default ! So I looked at my tuner and it was set at “send at every key on” so I thought ok i will see what happens if I hit the “send only once” and the same message as yours popped up. It was already after hours so I texted the owner who did the EGR delete and asked if they messed with the tuner, he did say that his tech guy changed the tune but didn’t know what “he did to it” and that he is leaving for Mexico and that I will need to get a hold of his tech on Monday... uggghh.. I told him the settings are wrong and now I’m afraid to do anything to my tuner till I find out what he did so I can ask Ray. I sure hope it’s a simple fix if not I will be talking to the owner when he gets back ! Frustrated !!!

LOL. That means at some point each of you have changed the real time configuration to "every key on". This is precisely another reason why I say leave the real time configuration alone because it confuses people.

Here is what ya do, when you change the real time configuration and that message pops up, that means in order for the configuration to actually change you must next program a RT tune of your choice in. Once that is done and provided you have not left the real time configuration on "every key on"...you won't see that message any more.

    Sorry for the confusion.

I have the Ultra not the MM3 but same circumstances
There was a topic last summer sometime if I remember right a couple others like me had something similar going on

I've always loaded the RT tunes after warm up and for a "single key on"
The 12v for me was at that time basically staying at the default tune even after turning the truck off and restarting. The only way I was able to change it was reflash to my base 120hp tune file

I haven't messed with it in a while to see if it still doesn't or not

I'll try later today and let you know

What I’m furious about is everything was fine before the truck went into the shop yesterday morning. It was set at “send only once”
When I texted the owner of the shop he said that his tech changed my tune, for what reason I don’t know, maybe they wanted to hear the 12V tune, I don’t know One of them should of said something to me about changing my tunes or program I didn’t realize it till after they had closed that it was coming on at every start up. I will be going down to the shop on Monday and have a nice chat with the tech then when the owner gets back from his trip I will talk with him too. Thanks, just needed to vent

Try unplugging your ODB connection for about 10 minutes. Then plug it back it
Reprogram your ECM tune that you have

That should get it back to normal
