Yeah and where I live I will get a smog ticket for sure.
Even the ECO tune smoked bad.
I under stand the race/performance tune should smoke some but it was bad and like I said I think it was the tunes that blew my turbo up.
In a way I'd say yeah but something just isn't right and I cant afford to lose another turbo using their tunes.
Industrial Injection injectors are notorious for being smokey.
With the type of turbo you have it will smoke some off boost or you will have pedal lag if you try to clean it up much.
You really have to settle for a balance of some off boost smoke with a little turbo lag.
So I looked at DRD website and they only go to 2007.5 years and I have 2005 with a 2nd gen swap.
I understand its gunna smoke and yes I was told the injectors will cause smoke. ctt tuning said my turbo was too big for my truck. Its been nothing but a nightmare. With my stress level rising my wife is like take back to stock and sell all the mods. then sell the truck. I promised her I'd get someone to get me a good tune. so we shall see.
truck.jpg shes pretty to look at
2006 dodge ram 2500 laramie crew cab 5.9 cummins. 10x20 et-24 fuel offroad with 275.60r20 tires. bully dog gt tuner. 48re ATS built tranny triple disc converter ATS oilpan and transgo quick shifter. 4" turbo back exhaust. brembo discs and pads
Yeah but even on his contact page you chose the year truck and mine is a 2005 and his form doesn't go that low.
So onward I guess and I'm not a lifetime member.
DRD doesn't tune the 5.9L Cummins Engine.
