    Exhaust Brake Issues?

Hey guys. I need your help.

I have a 13 Laramie that i bought with 75,000 miles and did a full delete at 111,000 with a RaceME Ultra and 4" exhaust.

    Truck has 119,000 now.

I've used the EB ever since I owned it.

The EB started sticking open on a couple long trips, but worked after them.

Now, for the past two weeks, it doesn't work at all.

    No codes.

I suspect the turbo actuator has failed.

The problem with box tuning is they have so many turbo codes turned off so a customer can install a variety of things, that the customer will never see a check engine light and codes for a failed turbo.

    I appreciate your quick response.

Is there a diagnostic check I can do?

Any recommendations on what or where I should buy one?

Use your tuner to monitor actual VGT position vs desired VGT position. If they dont match up or you see no change in either position, the turbo is done.

Dont have any cheap recommendations on a stock replacement. Others can chime in about that.

My actuator died at about 110K. It stuck at 50%.

It took a new turbo to fix the problem.

I really believe my problems started because I didn't delete soon enough.

    I deleted at 88K.

    That sucks!

I was hoping it wasn't gonna be the turbo.

I just don't have the cash right now.
