FNG from Texas

My name is Dustin & I’m 42yo. I’m from San Antonio, TX. This is the first diesel I’ve owned. It’s a 1998 Dodge 2500 5.9L 12 valve p-pump..2wd.. 5spd manual transmission & has 251K miles. I paid $800 for the truck and it runs great. It has the fuel plate mod ground flat and the star wheel is moved.. it “rolls coal” some.. hate that term,sounds douchey. Haha.. anyways blows smoke shifting from 3rd to fourth and fourth to fifth only if your getting on it. I’ve driven a stock truck like mine and this one definitely is more responsive and pulls harder.... turbo is quite even though the silencer ring has been removed. Looks like the injectors have been out or replaced along with the plungers.. valve cover gaskets are brand new.. has small oil leak from oil pan or timing cover or both, but I’m going to pull timing cover and check if the KDP issue has been addressed.. that’s all I can think of for now. Looking forward to making new friends and learning all I can from this forum.
