    Newbie Needs HELP!

    Hello everyone!

I'm a new member myself and forgive me I'm not too savvy with how things work so please be patient LOL.

I also had a few trucks all Cummins, but I just purchased a beauty over the weekend! 17' Ram 2500 Laramie.

This truck come with a MM3 tuner, which from what little research I've done I might not be able to do anything with....

Any and all advise would be appreciated!

To sum it up I have no idea when it comes to how to get going /proceed.

I was told by the dealer it's back to stock?

First thing I would do is verify your vehicle is indeed running the stock tune. Check your exhaust system to make sure you have all the stock components installed and all sensors are connected. Check your EGR system to see if it’s installed and connected. Check for any engine fault codes. If all looks good then you don’t need the MM3 for tuning purposes. You can still use the MM3 to monitor engine data if desired. If you find the vehicle doesn’t have the stock exhaust and all sensors connected and/or the EGR system has been compromised and you don’t have any engine fault codes then you are not running the stock tune. If this is the case you will need the MM3 to re-flash the ECM should it become necessary and it can be used to monitor engine data.

Pleased to see your tuner issues have been resolved by MM3 Technician.
