Get one under that sits against your coolers. The ones that go outside still allow a ton of cold air to travel underneath the truck and up
The ones that go under sit flat against and keep much less air off

Will do. Didn't really know that helped and never even thought to look for one.

I have to say this is one of the little things that is completely disappointing about this truck. sorry y'all just venting bought the Laramie package partially for not having to go out before I got the family ready to leave was one of the deciding factors between ones on the lot. Yes I bought the truck as a family truck with plans of getting toys to haul at a later date.

Now that I did that vent I can also praise things. In South Dakota winds I average around 18MPG highway in and around town at 70MPH. Got an early morning hunt a few weeks ago going a different direction not fighting the wind and was just under 23MPG between 60-75MPH mostly on the upper end. Then on the way back from the pumpkin patch with my kid I actually had to fill up just to see if the numbers calculated the same as the dash. Before I put up the numbers yes I did have a 10 to 20MPH tailwind and it was up and down out of the hills, but it was 25 by dash and mid 24s calculated. This is an 80MPH stretch of road and I had cruise set at about 85.

I was thinking of taking a leisurely ride up to Moore's Auto Salvage in Rapid. But seeing that. . . . . I think I'll wait till spring now. The old bones won't handle that. Been to Rapid City several times. Kudo's to the Firestone store there. Bailed me out

If I'm understanding you correctly your just looking for exhaust break to come on when remote start for quicker warm ups. So you sent whistle idle to every startup which if I'm not mistaken is not actually the same as exhaust break being on, sounds the same but I'm pretty sure it won't achieve faster warm ups. With that being said I'm pretty sure your tuner can write eb on every start up in your tune.

Yes I am looking for if factory using the EB to warm faster. I trust Ray with the tunes he provided, and even though it does turn on with every key on it doesn't do the same as with factory setting up the EB to warm it faster. The fast idle tune is what was suggested by Ray which is why I was using the load on every key on feature.

I think the older ones still fit the newer trucks to. You'd have to ask to make sure
