Greetings from the "Dirty T",

I'm normally a "Lurker" but IGOTACUMMINS won't let me! Oh well, here I am. Two year ago i bought a Cummins 12valve p-pump, 5spd 4x4 wrapped in a rusty Dodge Ram 2500. I am 2nd owner, PO (Boston area)installed a fuel filter relocation kit, replacement bed, and lots of rust. I bought from ebay so I guess I earned that lesson. I have learned that when buying anything with an engine on ebay the seller is probably lying. Needless to say I did not get a fair price. PO got a more than fair price and I hope he uses it well although I know it won't go toward rust proofing. I digress, the truck has been a blast to drive and the joke is on the po, I am more determined to rehab "Rustae" to a competent work/recreation vehicle. If you're in the Tucson area and know body work I could use a little guidance.

Thank you all for the warm reception. I forgot to mention since receiving the truck i have administered the killer dowel pin fix, have removed or broken several studs, bolts and screws changing the shocks, accessing the fuel plate, removing rust, changing the serpentine belt. I have also successfully removed and replaced or cleaned up many studs bolts and screws. Anti-seize is becoming a dear friend. I also learned that being in close proximity to diesel fuel, diesel exhaust, the sound of diesel combined with rowing through the gears of said diesel is infectious to the point of obsession. I will try to post more pictures of Rustea, I just don't want them to post sideways.
