I feel he's a survivor too! I feel that he may be one of the guys out rescuing people! Maybe that's why we haven't heard from him! I praying that's why!

I'm sure he will respond when he can. Rest assured he is well though.

Do we have any other members in that area? Seems to me we have more than that. Maybe @IGOTACUMMINS can search the member ship by state for us.

Been watching all of this since the beginning. When they get weather like this, it heads north to the jet stream and then east. So with hurricane weather now days, Texas and west 1/2 of Arkansas get the brunt, then it goes up and east, then we get what's left. From what they said, we started rain yesterday and for the next 5 days. Not anywhere as heavy or hard like they got, but constant most of the time. Our rainy season.

I did hear on TV that the governor put in for a Go Fund Me and the collected money will be for water, food, balankets and such only. Nothing for the state. Trump has FEMA on site before the rain even thought of stopping and from what I've seen, Houston already have their population ripping out their wet drywall, wet furniture and such ... starting of the recover and replace stage. I hear futher south is to wet and the water is to high to start yet .... but their waiting to start. They ain't gonna let a little water get in their way.

Here's a good one and I'm proud to have a member of it. I also heard they spotted some looters who shot at them. Moral is they were out gunned. LOL.

@TX NIGHT TRAIN is part of what they are calling the Cajun Navy. That's the name they dubbed the civilian volunteers who are sailing around looking for survivors. Nite Train? I salute you. If I were there, I'd be right along side of you. And I mean that.

I've been thinking about the Go Fund Me program. I think we should wait to see if we have any members in need first. However, @IGOTACUMMINS may be willing to set up a general donation page to be distributed to larger charities we, as a membership, decide on.

I say the Salvation Army because the CEO only makes 50K a year and they are all religion based. They've been scandal free for some time. But that's for another day

to anyone local to me, I have a friend with a CDL headed down with his company truck and 3 of his co workers. 2 trucks 4 drivers. They currently have about 80% fill. Leaving Tuesday 4AM Get it to me before then and it can get loaded with them. They work for a local trucking company. I am nt sure if company is just giving them truck and trailer or doing a full company fill them and pay them. That is why I am not naming the company. Knowing the owner of the company, as soon as he gets down there, he will send more of his drivers down as well. He always ran the business with his heart and helped everyone he could locally.

Thanks for the overwhelming support guys! I was very fortunate and my area did not flood. I was out in the community helping others as best I could. It's a long road ahead for everyone in south Tx right now. My prayers go out to the ones who didn't fair as well as me. Special prayers going up for @StraightSixNation as well. They quite a few members around the Corpus area. For anyone needing info you can check on Houston Area Off Road Recovery page of FB. There are members all over from Beaumont to well west of Katy.
