I didn't just yet but plan on doing it very soon, mine wasn't all that bad surprisingly. Didn't feel like tearing everything apart that's why I haven't done it yet haha.

Have not yet deleted the grid heater yet, other fish to fry right now, but it's on my list of things to consider down the road. Hardly a need for it here in south Texas. But, I'd like to investigate the Pros & Cons.

Yeah I'm in Southeast Texas near Beaumont, no need for a heater here! I installed the GDP air horn and grid heater at the same time...install wasn't bad at all, just have to make sure you don't mix up the fuel lines! I payed them all out in order and labeled them as I pulled them off...I didn't have to take the 6th line off though. I was able to pull the existing heater out and slide the delete in with no issues...took about an hour and a half.

90 minutes isn't bad, thanks for the advise on labeling the lines.
Yea, I live in San Antonio, but I have family in NTX, OK, PA and VA that I still visit. So I'm not sure I'm ready to delete the heater just yet.
What are the benefits to deleting? Any cons other than cost and possible trouble if I go north in the winter months?
Increased air flow along with the Air Horn. Now my only restriction is the size of the inter cooler, but I don't plan to make huge horsepower, I just want it to breathe easy. GDP makes a remote Grid Heater that installs where the throttle valve is located...it's a lot less restrictive too.
