2014 2500 big horn with delete and drd lite what is the max boost you can run without head studs? Seems like low boost numbers (32 psi) even in the 200 hp setting . I don’t know much about these engines.

Are you on the stock turbo? If so, that’s about it. If you’re running the 200hp tune and wanting max boost then I’ll go out on a limb and say you need headstuds.

If your going to run on the high HP settings I would recommend head studs at some point... But I would be much more concerned about the transmission if I were you.
Like stated from both fine gentleman above, the stock turbo maxes out around 32PSI and I think most of them like to let go around 34-36.
Studs are always a good option when you know you are going to use higher then stock tuning.
Same goes for the transmission.
It's always better to do it now rather then later.

All good info so far- max MAP is about 32psi anything more is just putting hot air back through and over working turbo.
Studs can be done without pulling the head one by one. Low to mid 40s psi pressure is about the limit of the 6.7s- the drive pressure with the VGT are about 1.5x (maybe a little more) boost so low thirties with that setup is really mid to high 40s psi on the head.
transmission valve body upgrades will be helpful if you want to be on the safe side!
