    ECM re-flash

Hey guys, when switching to a new ECM base tune, do I need to have the 3 prong diagnostic cable plugged in? I'm using the MM3 with Ray's tunes.

Yes you need that to be plugged in. For any ECM file changes it needs to be plugged in and I think for your RT tunes it needs to be plugged in as well. Either way it's best to have plugged in at all times.

X2 always need to have OBDll cable plugged in at all times unless your not using the MM3 monitor for gauges and RT tunes

Well that’s good to know! I changed ECM base tunes with only the MM3 plugged in. I’ll connect that cable and reload it. Thank you!
