Key Fob Stopped Working

Ok...Had a fellow Cummins enthusiast recalibrate my TPMS on my '17 2500 this morning using an Autel scanner. Worked great, that is, until I tried to unlock my doors with my key fob (the one that works like a key). No worky. No lock, unlock or panic. Tried both key fobs. Starts the truck fine and all the locks work using the button on the door. He said he has done lots of Dodges, including some 2017's, and has never seen this issue before. Won't swear it's related, but it worked fine before we fiddled with it. My tuner and Amp steps seem to work fine as well. Just the fob. Any of you Ram guru's have any idea what's going on here?

Man, I can't find anything on this at all. Lots of stuff for 1500's and a few 2500's, but mostly fob batteries and intermittent issues. The truck detects both of mine and starts with no issues, but the other buttons (no remote start) are just plain dead! I don't trust my local dealer after their anti-delete comments so I guess I'm gonna have to find a reputable shop to take a look at it. Ahhh...the joys of voiding your warranty! LOL! I still don't have any regrets.

I was in the same boat with my wife's vette.. the dealership had installed 2 new front TPMS sensors and when we got it back neither fob worked.. so we took it back and come to find out the batteries in the fob were bad. Both fobs! One always stayed in a drawer for a spare so it was probably dead long ago

Well, mine are only a few months old, but I'm gonna give it a shot and see what happens. I'm kinda at my wit's end here so not much to lose other than the price of a battery. Glad you figured yours out. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks Greg. I've read there are a couple of "friendly" dealers not too far from me, gonna put some feelers out and see what happens. It's driving me nuts! Can't have anything wrong with my baby.
