Question New Cummins owner in Las Vegas

Hi, I've always wanted a big truck so i was thrilled when my husband bought a 2018 Cummins Diesel 2500 6.7litre and a new travel trailer for us.
We have taken a few short trips and will be heading out in July to Lake Tahoe.

My husband is an aerospace engineer and I worked in hospital pharmacy and as a free-lance artist for 40 years now. I'm retired from pharmacy.
I love to travel and love to drive big and fast cars.

I get to drive the Ram all the time, which is fine with me! My husband drives our Jeep GC.

I want to get a tuner for the Cummins, and would like to know what the differences in them are?

I've looked at several videos about them on you tube.

I also want to know if it's still necessary to warm up the engine before driving in 100 plus degree heat? And for how long, if so.

    Thanks

Welcome my friend! Glad to have you here! I always prefer to wait until my truck reaches 110 before moving. Dunno why just makes me feel better. I like to go through 1-2 heat cycles while driving before i start to get on it hard.

Welcome and congrats on the new pickup! Cool down process is just as important as the warm up. Most here (myself included) will highly recommend "Custom Tuning" from @Double R Diesel as opposed to generic "Box" tuning from some fly by night outfit, that may or may not be around for support if you need it. Enjoy!
