    That's a great question.

Will that cat in 07.5-12 trucks eventually plug?

My thinking is this, there is A LOT less soot being sent through the cat when deleted vs stock tuning on the pre-DEF trucks so the cat this should last forever.

Just tripped 94k and no issues with the cat that I am aware.

I swapped out my factory down pipe with a race pipe last week.

The factory catalytic converter did not appear to be clogged in the slightest with 127k miles on it.

It went into the attic on my pile of factory take off parts along with the DPF. I'll say this - by looking at it, the catalytic converter has to be adding a good bit of back pressure/restriction to the exhaust system, so removing has to help performance to some extent.

The sound of the exhaust brake engaging is much more noticeable and now when I bump the throttle in neutral the tailpipe farts a nice black puff of exhaust.

    Git er done!
