If you're hoping to have someone tell you NOT to delete, you probably won't get that here!! LOL. When I bought my 2014, it had 10k miles on it. Even though it was my first diesel pickup, I had no fear (mostly because of "friends" on this board). I did it right away, and have no regrets. But go with your gut. Folks on this board will respect you, no matter what you decide!

Not looking to be talked out of it, I know the advantages...just trying to convince myself to do it. I wasn’t clear earlier, I traded my last Cummins a few years back. I am VERY glad to be back in one!

My truck had just over 5500 miles when I deleted it. Has 73k on it now and so far only real warranty work was a water pump at 55k and no issues getting that work done by the dealership.

If you have a good relationship with your local dealer, you can still get a lot covered under warranty. They don't always tell FCA HQ everything. If you blow up a tranny, prolly not good. I had an open conversation with the service manager before I deleted, and he didn't scare me away. At the same time, I didn't have any drive train issues to test his resolve.
