    10,000 ft and lovin it!

Here is one of our favorite places. Eastern Sierra, fishn, campn, good friends, trout, & cold beer! Love our 30’ Timber Ridge & 14 Cummins tow truck!. The road to this place climbs from 5,000 ft to 10,000 ft in about 4 miles. Trailer is at 10k loaded, and the truck handles it easily. Down the same grade with the exhaust brake is wonderful! In the past we did this with gas burners struggling, overheating, and brakes nearly on fire going downhill. Never again! We also do Nascar trips to Vegas and Phoenix pulling long desert grades in the heat. Again, simply amazing truck. Retired & lovin it!

There are moer of us old retirees out there then most know. Good to know @Hooked is one of us. And with the shell on his truck, similar to mine. Been through the Eastern Sierra area and he's right, beautiful area, and steep hills. But with that cummins it will be nothing for it.

Enjoy the retirement .. it's the best part of life ....
