Installed my new Mag-Hytec rear diff cover that I purchased through James @Rollin Smoke Diesel

New on the left, stock on the right

Look how much bigger this thing is!

Gears looked really good for 86k miles. I think this was the first time the diffs had been serviced. No chunks on the magnets!

8 quarts of this stuff... Only the best for my baby!

All done, I even took the time to dig out the torque wrench for this.

Took my time, no lift, I just crawled under and got to work.
On a scale of 1-5, 1 = easy, 5 = difficult, I'd give it a 2 only because of the factory gorilla and not having a lift.
Total install time, about 3 hours, which included taking pictures and a run to the parts store while it drained.

I'm about to do mine front and rear. Don't think I will get a new cover yet but do need to do gear oil. So it took 8 qts? Does the new cover add capacity or is that just what it takes to fill?

Stock is 3 to 4 quarts less for the rear diff, didn't change the front cover.

Added BDS Recoil Traction Bars after I dislocated my differential, so we fully welded the axle tubes to differential.
