    What To Buy?

    Hello everyone,

So I’m looking at the market to get myself a Cummins (4th Gen most likely).

    Trans in my concern.

Don’t need a 3500, but concerned about the 68RFE that comes in the 2500’s.

Don’t plan to build a race truck, but gonna do all the deletes and DRD tunes etc.

Just curious if the concern is valid.

    Thanks.

If you don't beat the trans and take care of it you'll be fine with a 2500 friend.

    God bless,

Depending on how you drive like stated the transmission will be fine.

It's the guys that have a heavy foot normally and don't adjust their tuning to what they are doing that have issues.

There are some cases where the 68 fails anyway but there are parts out there to help keep it strong that won't cost an arm and a leg.

You will be just fine my friend.
