What Does The Big D Cost These Days?

How much does it cost on average to do a T/D on a 2019+ Cummins truck?

Trying to sell my 2010 and debating a newer diesel vs. a 6.4 truck.

I hate towing with a gasser, but I also hate the EPA.

Depending on the cost for a 2019-2021 PCM, I would estimate somewhere between 4K and 5K for everything DIY.

My rough estimate includes the tuner, tunes, exhaust, EGR delete parts, Shibby plugs, and $1-2K for the PCM.

The 19-21 RAM trucks don't need an ECM.

    Just the 22-24 RAM trucks.

    Good to know.

I’ll keep an eye on the 19-21 trucks then.

Either buy a gasser and get awful mileage, or deal with DEF and a DPF, or spend a couple of grand deleting everything.

A lot of the dilemma is needing to drive literally 1 mile a day to work.

That’s really hard on a diesel, especially in the cold months.

The gasser will actually build some heat in that distance.

My apologies, when you said 2019+, my mind automatically went straight to the 2021+.

Thanks, IGC, for catching and correcting.
