Kept carpet elevated, vacuumed out, squeezed spong under carpet till no more water, then udes wet vac to pull moisture out.

There is a TSB on these for a body seal behind LF fender area. So I printed out the TSB, but the Kent Leak Check sealer mention in TSB. Found a can on ebay.
This stuff is fantastic along with Dicor RV self leveling sealant. I got ti in white. Gut on the tube reminds me of Goldberg, the wrestler.

Next, clean off well, spray with brake cleaner to remove any residue

There is a seal inside the 3 windows and to the right on the inside of the windows. I used the goldberg stuff originally and after it set up, sealed with Kent Leakcheck

Wasnt mentioned in TSB, but the way the sheetmetal lapped, hit it with the Kent Leakcheck (the black looking spray)

3 ports, seam in back and RH side all sealed.

Added the dicor to the seam that started at lower area of windshield

Note Leakcheck part number. Great stuff.

And any connectors I ran into got a ship of this in the female pins so no water would create an issue.

Reminds me of the commercial where the guy seals up a boat….spray rubber in a can. What years did that TSB cover?

2021 Ram 3500 DRW, H.O., bypass oil filtration, bypass coolant filtration, S&B CAI, 4:10’s
    2wd low loc kit.
Reacquired 2001 3500, 5.9 nv4500, dually cab and chassis, 5” straight pipe, edge juice w/attitude. Otherwise all stock…..for now.

    Re: RAM Truck Water Leak?

No leaks in driver's foot well, even after loads of rain.

The carpet pulled back, and the kick panel went down the bare metal floor pan, bone dry.

The Kent Leak Check is excellent; it worked so well that I bought six more cans on hand, and I didn't want to be caught without it.

I did add self-leveling windshield sealer to both top corners of my windshield and cleared off debris from under the side trim of the windscreen.

The factory butyl seal "cut the corner" when installing the sealer; it's even with the edge except in the corners, back 1/2 inch or more.

So added the sealer in there too.

That was noted in another TSB.

I'm still dealing with a small leak in the back of the cab, water ending up in the RH storage bin under the seat, and damp carpet under the door sill.

It's small, has been trimmed off, and appears to be coming from the top of the rear window.

TSB shows a chunk of plastic that can crack, and water migrates through.

    CHMSL seems fine.

I have no headliner stains, the power slider drains are working fine, and there are no inside drips on the glass.

So if the weather holds out, I'll tackle this leak this weekend.

    Re: RAM Truck Water Leak?

Well, after heavy rain, the leak was back.

Was coming in higher than any body seam, ended up being windshield.

A pillar, the drivers side was losing its bond to the glass.

I did add a Banks gauge, and the pod put pressure on the glass.

Could it of lifted it up over time with the pressure on hot days? I think so.

I trimmed panel, no more pressure, has clearance, new factory RAM windshield installed.

After heavy rains, the leak is finally gone.

Leak in rear is top seal of slider window, butyl seal to cab.

I just use the permatex self leveling clear windshield sealer all across the top behind rubber flap, so not visable, finally, no more leaks.

All other TSB's have been performed, IE stop lamp, body seams, rear aperture vents.

    OK, confirmed.

There were heavy rains, nothing inside, and everything was dry; the front and back leaks.

The front was my factory windshield, and the rear was a slider window seal to the body across the top.

Finally, I have closure on this.

I have also performed all TSBs until the next leak starts, and it may never.

    Re: RAM Truck Water Leak?

Follow up, used the topical Permatex self-leveling clear windshield sealant on the back window with great success until it started to leak again, some water returned, added more, so far, so good, but knowing this is always going to give me grief, I am having a brand new OE Mopar slider factory replacement installed today.

Same outfit that did my windshield, which has been flawless.

    Not resealing, but complete replacement.

My insurance covered both of these, and I have a zero deductible.

I guess I got the upgraded insurance package.

Ok, my insurance guarantees it for life.

    So drove it to work.

The guy who does our dealer cars is picking it up and taking it to their shop.

He is a diesel truck guy too; we have chatted quite a bit.
