Ok thanks its working now.
Is there a new update ? Looked on raceme ultra website and see a new file to down load ?
No the last update was 12-4. That little one is a patch firmware to fix up some 2012 model year trucks with an issue they had.
Oh I see. Darn got excited @RATLIN'HP thanks for the response.
Interesting. Everything worked fine again this morning. So my coolant temp was 104 when I started. (Plugged in). 7 minutes with high idle and exhaust brake and my truck was 156. I'll try again tomorrow for 7 minutes without exhaust brake and see what it comes up to.
What the temps outside where your at? Did the brake just randomly start working or did you change something on the raceme?
It's been "t-shirt" weather LOL. It was 36 yesterday, and 30 this morning. Last week for fun I reprogrammed with 13 volts. (Charger on battery). And I also plugged the servo motor back in. So go back to 12-4, when I first updated, (no charger, and servo unplugged). Truck has always ran great, I just could not engage manual high idle without the surge, and it did not matter exhaust brake on or off. What I noticed back then also was the warmer the morning, the less the surge, and after it would run for a few minutes, then I could engage high idle with no surge. So reading all the post I finally reprogrammed with a charger and plugged the servo back in just to see, but I did both at the same time. The day I did it, it was 5 degrees. I first engaged just high idle and it worked fine. I then turned the exhaust brake on, and I got the surge. So since it warmed up into the 30s yesterday I just randomly thought I'd try it again and it worked. This morning it worked fine again. In my opinion it's definately a combination of temperatures that either cause it to work correctly or incorrectly.
