Faded Black Plastic outside your truck?
This subject comes up frequently.
For years, I old schooled the faded black plastic with black liquid shoe polish. It would last a year and did a nice job.
The other day, while picking up some special body filler, I stumbled on this stuff. Car Guys Plastic Restorer
In my opinion, it is easier to work with. Large panels, like the front air dam, it is much faster and more even, It's now a matter of how long it will last.
Nuff said. Pictures tell the results.
Who said you can't teach an old dog? @AnOldBiker

BTW, The body filler is for a lemon size hole at the bottom of the RR 1/4. I didn't see it until I started to detail the truck

I usually use Maguire's twice a year which seems to make them look new. But this stuff will do also.

Actually, I never really thought about it Jim.
Shoe polish is so cheap and seems to last quite a while. I just happen to see this stuff and said what the. . . . 17 bucks!
The good thing is it covered the big flats nice and even.
The shoe polish has an applicator 1".
Now ya tell me!

A heat gun will make faded black plastic look like new. Just be careful. Lasts a long time too. It brings the oils in the plastic back to the surface.
