New To The Diesel World - 2014 RAM Mega Laramie
New guy and my name is Jimmy and I'm new to the diesel world.
I just bought my first diesel.
It came with mods EGR delete DRD tuned MM3 tuner 5 in exhaust back and cold air intake.
I need some info on what to tow a 15k fifth wheel camper in.
All I know about the tunes and tuner is it has a set tune for every time the key is turned on, and it has a few custom tunes you can change to 12v tune, whistle tune, lope tune, and a normal tune it may have more idk.
I've read you want to tow with your lowest hp tune and watch your trans and coolant Temps but not sure how to know what the lowest hp tune is.
Bear with me; I'm learning.

Your lowest hp tune to tow (only) is the 30 HP tune [emoji6]

I have the original MM3, not the updated version, and I didn’t order the wild tunes on mine; mine was set up with 30 hp, 60 hp, 90 hp, 120 hp, and I only wanted the 12v tune in the 90 hp tune as a different tune.

Just to clarify, don’t go by the generic labels on your MM3 keypad.
The correct settings are listed below:
0=30 HP (Tow)
1=60HP
2=90HP
3=120HP
4=150HP
5=200HP

I don’t have the latest update either, only did a couple updates after the “Switch” update in 2019.
To the best of my knowledge the keypad labels are still not correct and continue to create confusion. [emoji3]
