2019 RAM 3500 HO EZLynk Problems
Hello.
I have a 2019 RAM 3500 HO Cummins with the Aisin trans.
I installed an EZLynk with emissions-compliant tuning.
The truck does fine in 1st and 2nd, but when it shifts to 3rd, the truck loses all power and barely pulls itself.
Would anyone be able to give me some info as to what may be the issue?

:welcome: @Swain
Hang on a bit, and someone with EZLynk experience will be here soon.

Have you contacted your tuner with a Datalog?
It could be a simple as an overlooked limiter by the tuner.

Maybe your 3rd gear power got lost in the cloud [emoji3509].
Honestly, though, I agree it's in the tuning most likely.
Talk to your tuner.

Yes, I have been in contact with the tuner.
He has sent a few updated tunes but not getting anywhere.
I was just wondering if there was anyone out there running into the same issues.
I want to go with the mm3 tuning from DRD, but I guess all this has made me gun shy now.
I would hate to pull that refrigerator from under the truck and then have the same issue.
Then have to put the refrigerator back.
If you all are understanding what I’m saying.

Idk who your EZ tuner is, but I know the guy you're thinking about switching too; I bought a truck with the Aisin trans to perfect a tune for guys with the Aisin.
How does your truck run when you go back to stock?
If it runs normal, you know it's a tuning issue for sure.

I have the same truck as you do; you won't be disappointed with switching to DRD tunes.
Mine is night and day different from what it was.
Re: 2019 RAM 3500 HO EZLynk Problems
Not sure who you used for tuning, but the EZ-Link is just a tuning platform and uses a very similar method for building the mapping as EFI and MM3.
Since you are emissions equipped, I’m going to say something in that area could be the EGR valve opening, throttle valve closing, VGT could also be a factor.
Call the guys over at Calibrated power and let them know what’s going on Nick is one of the best in the business with emission-equipped tuning; they could point you in the right direction.

The truck normally runs when set back to stock.
It seems like it just defuels when it shifts to 3rd.
It is the same thing in 4th, 5th, and 6th.

@Ctanecowboy thanks.
I’ll try and give them a call.
