I did a grid heater delete on my 2017 Dodge RAM 3500 6.7L Cummins and now I get a CEL.
I have a tune from DRD with the MM3 Tuner.
Do I need to have a redo on on my tune so I can eliminate the CEL?
Thanks Tommy

If you just start it and don't wait to start the light should stay off.

Oh boy- I need to look for the thread we had going about this @cumminsdieselfreak @akbob
Is this a push to start truck?
Are you waiting to start?
Here’s some content- follow the bouncing ball based on your set up.

To answer the OP's question, a retune would kill the CEL but depending on which ignition/starting process you do.
A lot of people can bypass the light without a retune.

On my 14 I did some testing with the hot wire off the solenoid but left the coil wires attached and I did not get a cel, and I have the push to start.
